About the Bulfinch Triangle

Built in the 1800's, the Bulfinch Hotel is a nine story "triangle-shaped" or "flat-iron" building located conveniently in downtown Boston, also known as the "Bulfinch Triangle" or West End. The Bulfinch Triangle, named after 19-century architect Charles Bulfinch, was once an area occupied by skilled blacksmiths, coppersmiths, furniture manufacturers, as well as various mills for coffee and spices is now a vibrant downtown Boston experience. Respected interior designer Campion A. Platt, based in Manhattan, designed the Bulfinch Hotel's interiors with rich warm colors and custom walnut furniture with a contemporary flair.

The Bulfinch Triangle fronts Merrimac Street where Lancaster Street intersects about two blocks from Government Center at Scollay Square.

The Bulfinch Hotel is known as the perfect hotel for business and leisure travelers; the ideal location to play, stay and dine in Beantown! The Bulfinch Hotel has 80 upscale well-appointed guests rooms and junior suites, all of which are non-smoking. When staying at the Bulfinch Hotel you are just steps away from the areas many attractions, businesses, shopping, entertainment and dining. Our central location is within walking distance to Faneuil Hall, the North End, Government Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, TD Banknorth Garden, the Freedom Trail, Charles River, New England Holocaust Museum, Beacon Hill, the Boston Common and more.

On behalf of Team Bulfinch, we look forward to sharing with you our piece of Boston's downtown "Bulfinch Triangle"
